Last year, at the start of March,
my bipolar mania relapse began...
but I didn't realise it was mania
because it started with a burst of inspiration, creativity, and productivity towards relaunching Happy Oils UK.
And I realised it too late causing a disabling crash of symptoms which has left me unable to do what I used to do.
I have been so mentally, emotionally, and physically dysregulated and dysfunctional since then until now.
I am out from my normal day job as an A&E Nurse, I could not take care of my children, and everything was on hold, especially the relaunch of Happy Oils UK.
This year, I’m choosing to start March differently.
World Bipolar Day is on the 30th.
For the next 30 days, I’m personally committing to 30 minutes of intentional self-care each day.
Depending on where I am on my mood scale,
I’ll be donating between
£1 and £10 daily to Bipolar UK.
PLUS 12% of Happy Oils UK’s
March Profits will also go towards this campaign.
This is deeply personal to me.
Bipolar UK provides support, education, and community for people like me living with bipolar and our families.
I personally use their mood app and other support and has helped me with my self directed therapeutic recovery while on a 6-12month long waitlist for therapy.
If you’d like to join me:
Commit 30 minutes a day to yourself.
Donate even £1 if you’re able.
Or just share the charity page.
Any action, big or small, done consistently,
really does add up
and makes a powerful difference.
Thank you for being part of this.
With Love and Care,
Patricia Achish
